Nous avons le regret de vous annoncer l’annulation de la rencontre prévue les 19 et 20 mai prochain à la Franqui. Cette annulation est fondée sur la non obtention d’une autorisation administrative de roulage sur le site, celle-ci devant comprendre 2 accords de la part de 2 administrations distinctes.
En effet, fait nouveau cette année, l’autorisation ne peut-être accordée que si nous avons les 2 accords requis, c.a.d. l’un par la Mairie via la Police Municipale (concernant la sécurité liée à l’évènement), l’autre par les services de la DDTM de Narbonne (pour l’occupation du site). Le second doit faire l’objet d’une étude d’incidence de notre évènement sur le site en question, classé Natura 2000. Cette étude, ni même son éventuel accord, n’est envisageable dans les délais impartis. Car cette étude doit faire l’objet d’échanges et de réunions entre les 2 entités administratives Mairie et Services de l’état. Nous regrettons évidemment l’information tardive qui nous est donnée, car notre demande a été faite le 27 mars dernier sans même que nous soyons alertés de cette nouvelle condition.
Nous sommes évidemment sincèrement désolés des désagréments éventuellement occasionnés pour vous dans l’organisation de vos déplacements et de la réservation de vos hébergements.

We regret to announce you the cancellation of the planned “100km la Franqui’s race” on 19th / 20th may. This cancellation is established on the not obtaining of an administrative authorization to race on the site. This authorization must include 2 agreements this year.
Indeed, new fact this year, the authorization not maybe granted, if we don’t have the 2 required agreements, one by the City Hall via the Local police (security of the event), the other one by the services (departments) of the DDTM of Narbonne (site occupation). The second one has to be the object of a study of incidence of our event on the natural site, which is classified Natura 2000 (environmental classification).
This study, even if we have a positive agreement, could not be done and given in the time limit we have until the event. Because this study has to be the item of exchange and meetings between 2 administrative entities, City Hall and Services (Departments) of the state. And it will take time.
We regret obviously the late information which is given to us, because our request was sent on March 27th of this year, and they did not given us any information about this request when they received it.
